My heart won over my body and I pushed past the woman, my eyes half filled with tears as I ran through the doors and pushed out of the small adoption hell hole. "Get back here!" She screamed behind me but she wasn't chasing me, she didn't care, I'm sure in her head she hoped I was hit by a car.
I ran and ran, I had no idea where I was going, I was just running, my legs beginning to fail as I moved through trees and crossed roads, my heart racing and my body hurting a lot. I stopped at a small street and turned my head from left to right.
To my left was a race track, large and noisy, even from here, the smell of the fuel and rubber, while gross to some point, was luring my towards it.
To my right was a small alleyway, seeming to contain a few small shops and food places, my stomach grumbled at the smell of the food, suddenly over taking the race track.
